1. Who we are

Flash POS (“we”, “us”) provides a cloud restaurant POS that runs on phones and tablets, through our website https://flashpos.in and our app. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If you have a question, write to us at support@flashpos.in.

2. What we collect

Your business details: restaurant and outlet names, your menu, tables and the tax settings you enter.
Your team's details: names, roles and logins of your staff, and attendance and salary records if you choose to enter them.
Your orders and bills: orders, bills, discounts, the payment method used (cash, UPI or card), and the reports built from them.
Customer details you enter: any customer details you choose to add in the app, such as a name or a phone number.
Device information: information the app needs to work, including the token used to send push notifications to a device.
Messages to us: when you contact us on WhatsApp or email, we keep the conversation and the contact details you share.
Website information: basic technical information that is collected when you visit our website, such as browser type and the pages you open.

3. How we use it

To run the service you asked for, such as taking orders, showing them on the kitchen screen and making bills.
To help you with setup, questions and problems.
To prepare your reports, including GST reports for your accountant.
To keep the service secure and prevent misuse.
To meet legal requirements.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your restaurant's data for advertising.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We share it only in these limited cases:

With the cloud infrastructure providers that host the service and its database, only so that the service can run.
With push notification services, so that alerts reach your staff's phones.
With WhatsApp or email providers, when you contact us through them.
With authorities, only where the law requires us to.

5. Privacy between restaurants

Each restaurant's data is kept separate. Other restaurants cannot see yours. Inside your own restaurant, each person sees only what their role allows (owner, manager, waiter or kitchen).

6. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No online service can be completely secure, so please keep your staff passwords private and remove the login of anyone who leaves your team.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active. If your free trial ends and you do not buy a plan, your account stays paused until you buy a plan or ask us to close it. After your account is closed, we delete your restaurant's data within 30 days. Before you close your account, you can download your reports (for example sales and GST reports) from the app.

8. Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you or your restaurant. Write to support@flashpos.in and we will reply within 30 days. If you are a staff member, please speak to your restaurant owner first, because the owner controls the restaurant's account.

9. Cookies and tracking

Our website does not use advertising trackers at present. If we add advertising or analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy first.

10. Children

Flash POS is made for businesses and is meant to be used by adults aged 18 and over. It is not meant for children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make an important change, we will tell restaurant owners.
